The "Markus Rogan Talent Cup" is Austria’s biggest talent-swim-event for kids and teenagers, no matter whether they are simply enjoying swimming or already training at a club.

The qualifying rounds are held regionally throughout Austria. Older children are doing 50m in the qualifying rounds, the smallest 25m. Each child can decide how to swim (freestyle).

The knock-out system prevails: Times will not be taken in the qualifying rounds. Whoever comes first in his or her heat goes into the next round. In the team competition four children of the same age group and the same sex swim relay (also freestyle, knock-out system).
